The Los Angeles Conservancy Modern Committee is arguably the most single important preservation action group in the world. For Thirty years, their members interfaced and participated with numerous other groups such as The Society For Architectural Historians, DOCOMOMO, the Recent Past Preservation Network, the Society for Commercial Archeology, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and other worthy organizations. This group has inspired and influenced the development of countless preservation groups across the country.
