History of the Atomic Age Alliance

Founded in 2007, this progressive Mid Century Modern Historic Preservation Foundation in Nevada used to meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month in a different historic Modern-inspired location around central Las Vegas, NV. The Atomic Age Alliance was a 501 c3 NON PROFIT organization dedicated to celebrating historic Mid Century Modernism and Atomic Age design, signage, architecture, culture and business through ongoing community advocacy, activism and educational programs.

Their Motto: Join Globally – Act Locally.

Nevada Preservation Foundation

Many of the original Atomic Age Alliance members now participate in the Nevada Preservation Foundation. Several actually met while becoming active in the Atomic Age Alliance, such as Board Member Uncle Jack Levine and Heidi Swank, the current Executive Director of The Nevada Preservation Foundation. Both were members of the Atomic Age Alliance before the group disbanded.
